A self-catering property of the kind managed in eviivo

eviivo website design for B&Bs, guest houses and small hotels.

eviivo runs a large slice of independent UK hospitality, and its booking engine will sit inside whatever site you like. Most of those sites are not doing the properties justice.

The situation

Strong platform, tired websites, an unusually easy fix.

eviivo's booking engine lets guests search, book and pay in one flow on your own website, synchronised with the PMS and the OTA channels16. There is an official WordPress plugin for generating the widget code16, and it covers hotels, B&Bs, vacation rentals, campgrounds and multi-property portfolios16.

The eviivo base skews towards independent properties that have been trading for years, often with a website to match. That is an opportunity rather than a criticism: the operational side is already solid, the reviews are already there, and the only thing standing between the property and a better direct share is a website built this decade.

The eviivo engine placed into pages we design and control, so search, booking and payment happen without the guest feeling handed off16.

If you are staying on WordPress

eviivo publishes a plugin for generating the booking widget code16. Workable, and we will build it that way where WordPress is a requirement.

Questions people actually ask

Straight answers about eviivo and direct bookings.

Can the eviivo booking engine go on my existing website?

Yes. It is designed to let guests search, book and pay within your own site, synchronised with your PMS and channels16, and there is a WordPress plugin for generating the embed code16.

For most eviivo properties the engine is not the problem. The website around it is fifteen years old, and that is what we replace.

Does eviivo work for a small B&B as well as a hotel?

Yes — it covers hotels, B&Bs, vacation rentals, campgrounds and multi-property portfolios16. It is one of the broader platforms in that respect.

The website brief changes considerably between those, though. A six-room B&B sells on the owner, the breakfast and the location; a twelve-property portfolio sells on search and filtering.

What does a new website actually change for an eviivo property?

Usually three things: how fast it loads on a phone, how quickly a guest can see a price for their dates, and whether there is any content on the site that Google can rank.

Established properties often have excellent reviews and no organic visibility at all. That gap is almost entirely structural and it is very fixable.

Will my OTA connections be affected?

No. Your channels connect to eviivo, not to your website. Nothing about the rebuild touches them.

Availability keeps syncing throughout the build and after launch, exactly as it does now.

To be clear

We are not eviivo, and we are not trying to replace it.

eviivo is property management and booking software for independent hospitality. We are not an alternative to it. We build the website its booking engine sits inside, which for most eviivo properties is the part that has been neglected.
