Avantio website design for agencies who need more than six templates.
Avantio is built for agencies running twenty properties and upwards, and it shows. The templates are competent. For an agency competing on brand across several regions, competent is not the target.
The situation
Built for scale, templated at the front.
Avantio offers six website designs — Innova, Ambiance, Wide, Panorama, Matrix and Flow — with support for up to ten languages and its own SEO features17. It also states plainly that if you already have a website, you can connect it to the Avantio PMS and sync booking data across the OTAs17.
That last sentence is the one that matters. Avantio is explicitly comfortable with an external front end, which is exactly what an agency at this scale needs. Six templates across a whole market means your closest competitor may well be running the same one, in the same three regions, against the same guests.
Website templates available. Fine for a first site. Not a brand position.

How we connect to Avantio.
Avantio template
One of six
Customisable within limits, multilingual, and quick to deploy17. A reasonable starting point and a poor differentiator.
Your own site, connected
The documented route
Avantio supports connecting an existing website to the PMS with booking data syncing across the OTAs17. This is where we build.
Multi-region, multilingual build
Agency scale
Localised pages with proper hreflang, region-level landing pages, portfolio search and filtering, and static-fast rendering across every market you sell into.
Questions people actually ask
Straight answers about Avantio and direct bookings.
Can I connect my own website to Avantio?
Yes. Avantio states directly that an existing website can be connected to the PMS, with booking data syncing across the OTAs17.
For an agency this is the important detail. It means the front end is genuinely yours — brand, structure, content and search — while Avantio continues to run distribution and operations.
Are the Avantio templates good enough for an agency?
For a new agency, yes. For an established one competing on brand in a region where a competitor may run the same template, that is a harder case to make.
Six designs across an entire European market is a small number. The differentiation has to come from somewhere, and at agency scale it usually needs to come from the website.
How does Avantio handle multilingual sites?
It supports content in up to ten languages17, which is more generous than most platforms in the category.
Language support and multilingual SEO are different problems, though. Ranking in France requires localised pages with correct hreflang and locale-appropriate content, not translated strings. That is build work regardless of platform.
Is Avantio worth it below twenty properties?
Avantio itself positions the platform as working best from around twenty properties upwards17. Below that, lighter platforms will cost less and fight you less.
If you are approaching that threshold and planning to keep growing, it is a sensible place to land.
We are not Avantio, and we are not trying to replace it.
Avantio is property management and distribution software for letting agencies. We do not compete with it — we take the route it documents, connect a custom website to it, and let it carry on doing distribution.
