About
A small studio with an unusually narrow remit.
Fullstay is an independent design and development studio. We build direct booking websites for self-catering and hospitality operators across the UK, Ireland and Europe, and we do not build much else.
Why the narrow focus
Because the hard part is never the website.
Anyone can design a good-looking holiday let site. The difficulty is everything behind it: what a given channel manager exposes through its API, how it handles fixed changeover days, whether its booking engine can be restyled or only recoloured, what happens to a short-break rule when a guest lands on a property page from Google in the middle of a season change.
Those details decide whether a beautiful site converts or quietly leaks. Knowing them across a dozen platforms takes years and a deliberately narrow remit. That is the whole proposition, and it is why we say no to work outside the sector.
How we work
Six things we hold to.
Narrow on purpose
One sector, a dozen platforms, known properly. We turn down work outside it, which is why we can be useful inside it.
Senior people only
The people who scope the work do the work. No account layer, no handover to someone who has never opened your channel manager.
Constraints first
We find out what your platform genuinely cannot do in week one, not week nine. It makes for a duller kick-off and a much better launch.
A small number at a time
We take on few enough projects that none of them are waiting on us. If we are full, we will say so.
Evidence over opinion
Design decisions get argued from funnel data and industry benchmarks, not from taste alone. Taste still matters. It just does not get the final word.
Plain English
No jargon in proposals, no invented metrics, no pretending an integration is simple when it is not.
Where we work
UK and Ireland first. Europe regularly.
Most of the work is with operators in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, where the channel landscape is distinctive and the agency commissions are highest. We also build for operators across Europe, with multi-currency, multi-language and local tax handling as standard.
